need help

any body know were the crappie are bitting in denton county i dont have a boat i normally fish tower bay on lake lewisville or the 2nd bridge on lone oak road on ray roberts and i been fishing at alton but cant get a single bite anywhere i want to start fishing crappie year round but in the winter time i can never get a bite that theses places:crappie:

This time of year crappie are generally either up the creeks or in deep water, usually close to the dam on any given lake. They follow the shad and these are the areas that shad migrate to in the cold.

Without a boat I'd suggest walking the creeks.
