I lost my grandmother last Wednesday and it's been a tough go here. She was my hero and I'm really having a tough time coping with her loss. Fishing has been way down the list of priorities lately and I never thought That would happen.
I'm not much on giving people advice, but I'll share this with you.
Spend as much time with those you love now because we aren't guaranteed another day. Once they are gone you'll wish you'd have spent more time with them and it will eat at you. I'm dealing with that right now. Even though I did spend a lot of time with her, I wish I'd done more with her in the last few years.

Sorry to hear that Jerry. She is in a better place now and will look down on you and watch over you everytime you are on the lake. Sorry again for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. My mom died at 96 and what made it a little easier, although it never easy is that we spent a lot of time together

Jerry,
Sorry to hear about your loss.
Will remember your family in prayer as you cope...
Matthew
So Sorry to hear about your loss and I do understand. You give great advice there and I remember the lost feeling when my mother died and I looked around and almost my entire family other than my wife and kids was gone. A couple years more and I didn't have any aunts or uncles left either and only a few cousins.
So by all means make time to see your family.
God Bless!
